Coach Anderson is quoted as saying, "there's been some pretty remarkable guys that played in the tournament and went on to play high-level hockey, so it's going to be an opportunity for them."
We are pleased and grateful for the recognition. This tournament is a big deal. It's time for us to confidently go forth and show the world, what Wheat Kings represent. Our players have earned the right to compete on the international stage.

There is still opportunity for individuals and organizations to sponsor the team and help us fund this trip, including purchasing raffle tickets for $10. The prize is a pair of flights, from Westjet.
